Owners who tried, but were not helped
Here are some stories about animal owners who wanted to get rid of their animals before they did something terrible to them, but a shelter refused to take them. This first story is horrifying and sets an ache in your heart.
In Pennsylvania a man who tried to surrender his dog to a non-killing shelter was told that he would have to make an appointment to return in two weeks later when the facility might have room for his dog. The man was furious and grabbed his dog, got in his pickup truck, and left. He drove to the next intersection, threw out his dog and ran over him, crushing the dog beneath the tires. Shelter workers, who wouldn't help the dog before he died, collected the dog's remains.

In Michigan, three abandoned dogs were found dead on a dirt road after their owner was turned away by three shelters that wouldn't take his dogs.

Abuse for no reason
All kinds of animals are abused
A farm located in the small community Fall City, Oregon 200 dead or starving alpacas were found on a hill side with no grass in sight. Alpacas look like small llamas or long-necked camels with no humps and they are easily domesticated, friendly, gentle, and very curious. They are rare and exotic creature, treasures bu the Andes Mountain for over 6,000 years. The owners of Jocelyn's Alpacas Ranch was indicted in 2013 with 18 different animal abuse charges. Neighbors reviled that the owners were neglecting their animals and investigators also found evidence of malnutrition is the still alive animals. In the justice for the animals the farm was charged for second-degree animal neglect and 16 counts of misdemeanor first-degree animal neglect.

Animals to pray for
All the animals on this page are animals and owners to pray for, but these next ones listed are more recent stories from Missaukee Humane Society's Facebook page. There is more information on my prayer page on what these stories are for. I have praise and in need stories of animals who need homes and prayers. I am unable to put the exact photos of the animals on my website, to solve this I have put the Facebook link on this page to reach this the Human Society's page.
This story is both a praise and a need. Currently the shelter has only two dogs left still looking for homes! The first dog is Molly, she has been at the shelter since April and needs a home with kids older than 10 about. She looks like a regular sized pit bull who is a younger, beautiful, and loving.
The second dog is Mr. Magoo, he had been at the shelter since July and he needs a home without cats. Mr. Magoo looks like a regular sized mix dog who is older and needs a good home, so that he can have a family once again. These dogs both need loving homes and need prayers that they will find the home meant for them soon.

A huge praise!

That 35 animals that got adopted in one day! I strongly encourage you to also go to the Facebook page because the pictures posted of the new happy owners and animals is heart warming and will for certain put a smile on anyone's face.
