There is a big question that can be raised about what I believe in when it comes to human ethics and animal abuse. I am not a believer that animals have human rights because they don't. No person who claims to be a Christian should ever claim that because God never says that animals have rights like us. In fact Gods Word says in Genesis 1:28-31
28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” 29 And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. 30 And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so. 31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. God gave man dominion over all his earthly creation in the beginning. Humans were the last creature that God had made, but the last became first in his earthly order and the only creature to be made in his image. Mankind was assigned the job of taking care of everything on the earth, including the animals. This is why I believe that we are responsible for the animals, not that animals have rights like people. Some other little bible stories in God's Word that supports what I believe is Noah's ark who build the ark for the animals when the flood came. Noah was assigned to take responsibility for the animals and care for them. The Good Shepherd is one of my favorite examples of how the shepherd looked after his sheep. The last story is located in Luke 12:1-7 when Jesus said that God cares about sparrows, but the man was more valuable than many sparrows.

Hello,
I am writing to say something that has happened in my life that I think was a blessing. I had just started school and during that first week of still trying to figure out what's going on I received a call. A call from Stoney Corners Veterinary Service. They asked me to help them with the closing chores for about an hour a day because they were running short on staff. This was something new to me and I was a little nervous. I wasn't sure how I was going to do school, sports practice, and then work at Stoney Corners. I always need to trust in God because He always finds a way. God reminded me of how much I cared for animals and how much of an opportunity this was. Every since then I have loved it and everything has worked out each month. I truly believe that God answered my prays for the desire I had to be around animals. While at Stoney Corners I have seen the Doctors take care animals that just need a rabies shot to sewing up a dog that was almost killed by a bear. Having this challenge of working harder each week to get everything done in school, practice, and working have really made me develop better life skills. This is why I encourage everyone to also take that step of faith into the unknown and see what goodness God has in store on the other side. If you want to start helping animals or want to start a new job with a veterinarian office, I can help you with that. Any questions you have for your own situation I am always open to listen and give advice. As often as I can I will check my blog and answer any questions. Also any thoughts or comments about animal abuse or my website are welcome.
